Summer Drinks and staying on track ...
Summer is a hard time to eat right.... and drink right ... mostly drink right.
There are so many delicious summer cocktails, summer beers and shandies, don't forget about the frose .
I honestly think this is my downfall in the summer. That and not being the best about my hydration.
Now, let's set things straight ... I am not by any means an alcoholic (not that I am putting down anyone who is, that is a serious illness) but I enjoy my drinks in the summer. What is better than sitting on the porch with a glass of wine and a book on a summer's night ? Oh maybe it's laying on the beach with an ice cold beer? OR maybe drinking frose (that is frozen rose for those of you who are behind on the times) at a roof top bar enjoying the skyline.
In New England, we like to celebrate and savor this weather. Why not with drink?
* Disclaimer: the healthiest way to drink is to not drink alcohol at all, and if you do drink responsibly and in moderation.
Ok, if you are a busy lady (or gentleman) like me and really want a one stop shop for some "less" damaging (to your clean eating or calorie intake) look no further ... I did put together a list of some websites to help you.
